Favorite Music, Artists, Genres:

Classical when I write, oldies with a beat when I jog, nothing when I sleep.
Favorite Books, Writers, Genres:

Anything by Dave Barry, weird novels like Carl Haaisen and Tim Dorsey, short stories by famous authors, scifi, especially on trips. Other favorite writers — too many to name. All for different reasons.
Favorite Movies, Actors, Genres:

My kids claim I've never seen a movie I didn't like and won't let me go to the video store alone.
Favorite TV Shows, Actors:

Sitcoms with the sound off and script showing, watch no "prime Time Soaps" i.e. shows with continuing plots - The Sopranos and Studio 60 received a grandfather exemption from that rule. Watching more BBC drama and Indie films these days.

Yes, I did misunderstand you. Thanks for the clarification. My job is to create dialogue, and I am disappointed when readers choose to ignore things just because it doesn't suit them. I also get tired of angry rants, but that is part of the territory. I try to diffuse them if possible, but we are in a volatile time now. Sometimes it is difficult to keep a clear head when I am being bombarded with nasty barbs. However, again that comes with the territory. I just drink lots of coffee.
